'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return
Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first major trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
